Social Responsibility

At Investment Quorum we all firmly believe in supporting good causes where we can.  This is based upon our belief that businesses should be responsible and contribute in a meaningful way to the community in which they operate.  In any given year we will make contributions large and small to good causes but those detailed below are our current and recent past beneficiaries.

Social

Tommy's
Tommy's is a charity giving babies the best chance of being born healthy and exists to save babies lives by funding research and providing information on the causes and prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth.  We are proud to assist them with their charitable fund investment and to contribute to their fundraising efforts.

Crisis

Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people and are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change.  We requested that a fee which would have been receivable for work done for Citywire be donated to them.

Barnardo's

Whatever the issue, from drug misuse to disability; youth crime to mental health; sexual abuse to domestic violence; poverty to homelessness; Barnardo's believe they can bring out the best in every child.

Community

Hove Rugby Club
Investment Quorum has this year sponsored the Hove Rugby Club Under 13's team. We all believe that sport encourages young people to develop key social skills such as fair play, teamwork, application and a pursuit of excellence. We are very proud to assist the team in their endeavours and hope that having our company logo on their shirt will bring them good fortune. The monies we have donated may be matched by Sport Aid if so and will go towards some much needed floodlights for the juniors' training pitches.

International

Street Child of Sierra Leone

The goal of this very worthy charity is to reduce the number of children living their lives on the streets of Sierra Leone, the poorest country in the world.  By showing them love and care by tending to their nutritional, health, recreational, educational and psycho-social needs they aim to rebuild their trust in adults and reconcile the children with their families and communities.
