When Elliot joined Investment Quorum in 2019, IQ was a traditional wealth manager. Today it's a technology-led firm, a shift that earned IQ the PWM/Financial Times award for Best Wealth Manager in the UK for Use of Technology. Along the way Elliot has quietly built much of the firm's backbone: its website, CRM, HR systems, and the unified data layer that now sits behind every client conversation and decision.
At the heart of that work is Helix, IQ's next-generation digital wealth platform. Built on Next.js and wired directly into Seccl's API-first custody infrastructure, it gives the team live portfolio data, trade execution, and interfaces tailored to each role, all with full audit trails and automatic versioning, so nothing is ever lost or unaccounted for.
Elliot also takes the firm's security personally. He designed IQ's SASE-based cloud framework, pairing CrowdStrike and Cloudflare to protect client data, APIs, and endpoints. In one recent month it intercepted over 1,200 threats without a single disruption. He's also woven AI through the business in a genuinely useful way, drawing on models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cohere with retrieval-augmented generation over an Elasticsearch search lake. In practice that means AI-drafted suitability reports, anomaly detection, automated CRM workflows, and Consumer Duty evidencing across the whole book.
There's more to Elliot than technology, though. He leads IQ's B Corp programme, where he's lifted the firm's score by 24%. A Durham Natural Sciences graduate, he also laced up for the 2024 Sierra Leone Marathon in support of Street Child, a cause close to IQ's heart.
